I am being told by various sources in TKM product planning that auto will not come at launch. Auto will come in anything from 4 to 12 months but not launch (read not before 6 months). I am foxed at what you are saying, hope the dealer did not say it just to get your booking?

Forget auto right now, enough information is available which confirms no auto at this moment

Correct: The dealer may have agreed to your demands to park the money at his dealership for interest free two months usage + keeping the customer (you) at his dealership (instead of losing to the competition)

NO Auto means No Fortuner for me.

What I have been told that the top version is going to be launched first. And what I have read that since Captiva has been released in Auto, CRV is already there and ENDY in next 6 months would be coming in Auto version, so they would be launching the AUTO as well.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Kuch toh aaye (at least something should come)

You just spoke my mind!
Its been years since we've been hearing of this imminent launch of fortuner by Toyota.

I am also waiting for its launch as very keen to buy one but since I've never bought a vehicle without a test drive, so will wait.

This would be a great vehicle if they price it at 20L. Wondering if I should have waited 6 months and bought this instead of the Endy.

I think the launch is somewhere end of august. It is the facelifted one and it has almost all the features as the thai variant apart from the touch screen HU.

Lol bro that was hillarious! On second thought, these test mules might be going to prospective owners for a test drive, instead of them coming coming to the showroom for TD.

I saw a test mule of Fortuner on the way to Mangalore near B.C Road. Seems like it was going through mountain testing.

If they're still testing, does that mean they're still fine-tuning the suspension and engine and all that? Because then, it would take even longer for them to launch wouldn't it?

I think my son grew a foot and is 3 years older now since the time they decided to bring in the Fortuner.

At Toyota's product team's current speed, your son will probably drive you around in his Fortuner
