98 octane fuel at 47.xx rs

guys,
just forgot to tell u all abt this .i remembered it when i was talking to NC abt something.
the reliance petrol pump at kopra khairane has got 98 octane fuel at rs 48/liter.and 93 octane at 42rs.
they dont keep 87 octane.
i had done a full tank, adding abt 30 liters to my existing POWER.so thats abt 7 liters of Pwoer +30 litres of 98octane .

it was superbb and i found the following differnces:

-120kph was now at 3600rpm instead of the previous 4000rpm.
--throttle respose has improved a lot.
and the worst part was that the free flow had become less audible.

so guys if u compare this to the 55rs of bpcl speed 97,then the reliance 98 octane is an absolute steal.

so all speed run draggers,u all know here to go

Its Kopar khairane & its in Navi Mumbai near vashi( the main road of vashi which goes from the flyover towards TTC i.e. where the bajaj & tvs showrooms are)

Btw is it advisable to use fuel of Octane rating higher than recommended or rather for which the engine is tuned, i mean what abt the compression ratio etc ??

as per my opnion these higher ocatne fuels(i.e. 97&98) should be used only by supebike & supercar owners.

My 2 cents

if u entering airoli from mulund take the right road to pune ,just after the Reliance DAKC on the left there is the reliance petrol pump.

if cuming from dadar, then from chembur take the right to vashi and after the toll nakatake the flyover to left just before juinagar.and u arrive in turbhe.
after that go straight till u reach Reliance DAKC ,and take a u turn in front of the gate and on the leaft the petrol pump is there.

DAKC=dhirubhai ambani knowledge city ,and its exactly in front of Kopar Khairane rly stn.

There is no way in the world i'm gonna believe that. What are you saying man??

Fuel quality has nothing to do with the "speed to rpm" ratio. Not even the best quality fuel can change that. This can happen only if your gear ratio, final drive ratio or wheel circumference change. Clutch slipage could be remotely considered too.

If this is really happening on your car, then you might want to get your "tacho/speedo" checked or you might be facing clutch slip.

heheh,
i knew someone wud say that.but thats wat i felt had happened.as earlier 100 was in 3200 rpm and it wud take the whole 3200-4000 to reach 120.mabbe 125 at 4000
but this time with the 98 octane it reached 120 before the usual rpm of 4000.so i assumed it was 3600 as it was just above 3500.
mabbe it is still 120at 3800 ,but i noticed that the effort required was much less.
mabbe because the throttle response was soo superb ,that i felt i came at 3600.
i did not have much time to check this ,but wud definitely let u know when i go bak.
