The Linea it will be!!
Reasons, It looks hot, oozes class at a reasonable price. Promises to enconse me and my family in comfort, luxury and safety. It is aspirational.

Only possible downers
*** and stripped down versions for India

Pricing could be a problem when it comes to fiat. some of the sites stated 6.5L as the price of Linea, some say 9-11L could be the price. Lets hope fiat manages well.

As general Indian public one can buy either Linea, Punto, Palio from the list in this thread.

Only few personalities would buy Fiat Bravo, Fiat500 because still for indian requirement car for that price doesnot makes sense.

My pick would be in the order: Linea -> Punto -> Palio.

All the best Fiat.

Regards,

Ravi.

I am surprised to see the Fiat Palio Adventure missing from this list. My vote goes for Fiat Palio Adventure Diesel with the 1.3MJD engine or even the 1.9LMJD engine.

Not sure, if you meant to include that as the Palio..

there is only one to choose from

What do you mean by choose one?

If you go to the fiat-india website there is only one car for sale.

Would definitely like to try the Linea with the 90 bhp version of the 1.3 JTD. The car looks just amazing. Love the Grande Punto but given that it is going to sell with the same engine tune as the Swift, the linea would be a far better option.

Just a query how would the Swift VDI with a pete's box stack up against the linea.

I have seen the Brava (Geek, it is not Bravo!) and that killed everything I had in me for the Punto. But I love sedans, so Linea it is.
