BUT....it is like SRV with 2.0 TCDi

there is a fine print

So i guess we will have to wait for few more months.

I was enquiring about Fusion last week. I wanted ABS + Airbags, but the answer was no. Does anybody has any news on this as my friend is deciding between Fabia and Fusion. Fusion without Airbags and ABS is not scoring high on his list.

However, I have one question in my mind. Now that Ford is running test mules of a vehicle which is based on the Fusion/Fiesta platform (B256), what happens to the Fusion then? This month's ACI reports that the model would be priced below the I10 and keeping that in mind, it looks as if Ford is trying hard to sell all the possible Fusions that they are left with.

Well in that case surely its a good alternative buy to Palio 1.3 / Getz 1.5 / Fabia.

Little confused, the fine print is still there.

With 4 way adjustable driver seat, ABS+EBD, Alloys, and Electric mirrors it surely looks a good deal now considering the price difference of 35K.

I've always liked the Fusion. I almost bought one when I was looking to change my car in 2005 but bought a Honda City instead because of its superior mileage, fit finish and the fact that good service was close by in Prime Honda (that turned out to be a different story but that's a tale in another thread). At the time the Fusion lost out because of its poor FE - only the petrol was available. If there was a diesel I would have bought it. Years later Ford came out with a diesel. Now in my next car I want Airbags with ABS and the works. The Fusion is available in diesel but not with Airbags. Somehow Ford keeps missing what I want, when I want.

I dont think so they launched with all those features. When i visited their site it is same like SRV for survey purpose. Why these 2 cars doing the same thing? For me SRV will be really good with the magnum engine.

The only negative thing about the ford fusion tdci would be the parts price. If the bring that down, getz is sure to have a run for its money.
One thing i noticed about the fusion and the getz -getz is a bigger car than the fusion. When we see a fusion on the road we get a mini suv feel, but whe put next to each other we find getz is marginally bigger.
Still if fusion comes with the abs option and the availablity is met then the volumes for fusion would be on the rise.
