Re: Hyundai i10 diesel

Looks like by the time , the diesel variant is launched , I10 itself would be past its sell date.

Re: Hyundai i10 diesel

clap: People, the wait is over (at least that is what seems). For many of us who are contemplating buying diesel hatchbacks and eagerly waiting for the much-talked-about i10, here is a bit of good news. Please note that the i10 Diesel is already available in European market, so the 1.1 L diesel engine might be a straight flick from that model.

Only the aesthetics and other features that suit the needs of an Indian might be tweaked with. Here is the link

Another option for economical city travel.
Good.

In the lighter vein:

For a moment, I could not believe my eyes,

The webpage says (among other things)...

...We hope to do that soon,” Shar Rukh (C.H) Han, Executive Director, Hyundai Motor India, told Business Line at the sidelines of the new Elantra launch.

Is this the bollywood guy who did the campaigns "Santrowale" and "It's time to change the laws of physics" for Hyundai?

Good one !! What caught my eye was that they are also working on a utility vehicle. Waiting for a good SUV. The Duster IMO was a disappointment. Let's see what Hyundai is able to dish out.

Practical joke? Hyundai does not offer the i10 with a diesel in Europe.

"The Korean carmaker already sells the i10 with a 1.1 litre diesel engine in Europe, a modified version of which may be considered for India. The focus on a second fuel option is because diesel car demand has been on a high in India since 2010, while the petrol car market has contracted."
