The New Accord's side profile is a Complete rip off of the BMW 5 Series, the Hofmeister kink included and garnished with the Mercedes side crease.

Isn't that a good thing that Accord resembles BMW 5 Series !! I think the side view looks very good.

So I guess it is not only Hyundai that copy cats

Maybe, its for the buyers to decide.IMO it's better if a car has its own design identity.

Yes, you are right in a way. But if a cheaper car ( If you can call Accord that ) resembles a more expensive car ( BMW ) and that too very neatly then what's bad in it.

The Swift was designed keeping the Mini's looks - look at how it sold.

The Accord will definetely give its competitors a few nightmares now. The Interiors are far more stunning in the new Accord.

There is nothing wrong, good for Honda if people like it more because it resembles a 5er.

Disagree. By that logic all sedan look the same. IMO, both look different - Accord is less mean than a BMW.

There is no logic there.See the Pictures, the windows, rear light, wheel arcs, mirrors, they all have the same design profile. For me that makes the design a rip off.

Going off topic ,but how does this Camry look like a Accord or 5er.All cars don't look same if they don't have common design elements.

Just saw the car today at Dakshin Honda. Prices in Karnataka have not been released yet. The sales people have no brochure and no info on the car at all. I just told him to give me the key and I'll explore on my own. TD will be available next week.

Car looks massive in size. Looks are subjective and IMO the car looks good. The bonnet is very high and the headlamps and tail lights protrude out of the body.

Interior space is massive. It's sublimely comfy with acres of legroom even for 6footers. Ingress and egress is very easy. No stereo controls on steering wheel but there for rear seats. There is no trip computer as well just AC and radio display in the centre console.

Tyres are 215/60-16 Bridgestone Turanza ER-370.

Visibility is great and you can see the complete bonnet from the driver's seat.

Note strut braces for the front suspension.

Hm. 2.4 litre, 178 horses. N.A. Not bad. Makes the Accord the most powerful N.A sedan below 20L.

Needless to say, Honda's cash registers will be ringing. From the other end of the room.

I hope those front seats were completely pulled back, because thats not what I call legroom. The car looks massive in size because it's almost 4.95m in length. Thats huge, I doubt it would be as driveable and parkable as the old one, in the city. 2.4L and 180 horses? Finally something about this car that I like. And needless to say, I'm hoping this car gets a facelift within a week! One query I had for you, @vid6639 -

Are both front seats electrically adjustable? Or have they resorted to cheap cost-cutting this time aorund as well? In a way it's already apparent, no steering mounted controls is funny. I dont really care about what their logic was.
