Their updated pricing shows Accord 2.4 M/T : Rs.1,704,700 for the 2.4 Manual ex-Mumbai. At this price, it is a steal and surely a lot cheaper than we anticipated. The Camry, on the road, is 27 lakhs in Mumbai!

Now that you mention it....it does look an awfully lot inspired by the 5 series from the side.

Even the rear is so 7 series with those extra lights et all.

Thats huge, I doubt it would be as driveable and parkable as the old one, in the city. 2.4L and 180 horses? Finally something about this car that I like. And needless to say, I'm hoping this car gets a facelift within a week! One query I had for you, @vid6639 -

Are both front seats electrically adjustable? Or have they resorted to cheap cost-cutting this time aorund as well? In a way it's already apparent, no steering mounted controls is funny. I dont really care about what their logic was.
The front seats are fully pulled back and reclined as well. That's my driving position and I wanted to check if I could sit in the rear seat. I'm 6 foot tall and I had no issues getting in or out from the back and I was able to sit easily.

Only the driver's seat is electrically adjustable, the passenger's is manual. One good thing was that the door's open in 3 steps like the german cars and also opens wide to nearly 90degrees.

The headlamps are not projector type ones.

The bonnet has insulation and is hydraulic lift up type whereas the boot is normal hinge type.

Also, no cruise control, no rear windshield sun blind and no sunroof on any models.

Feel free to ask anything more.

nice pics vid. the rims and tyres look terribly small for this car. they should have offered other things like a multifunction display and steering wheel controls. though i guess they figured out that 90% of the accords they sell will be driver driven.

Tyre size is 215/60 R16. If this is 'terribly' small, then what is 'just' small?

perhaps you didnt read the rest of the sentence. i said they look terribly small on this car. now what size of tyres looks small on what car is relative to the size and the looks of the car.

Spacious car, subtle interiors and too much of inspiration taken on design front.

On the other hand did the rear remind me of dzire lol? naughty maruti i say

Honda is slowly feeling the pinch of price war, paper reports said 16 to 18 lakh in Delhi. So i think as usual they are gonna make the profits by keeping the gizmo's to minimum :(

I guess the 16" are for ride quality and the 215's for the little compromise to fuel efficiency. They do look a tad small but considering that the car is 5metres long and nearly 2metres wide I guess this is inevitable.

Oboyoboyoboy, Honda is really trying to emulate the Europeans eh! Nope, I dont think they are there yet. Fantastic car though.

Now that you mention it...yup, that too! Both of them draw inspiration from the 7 series.

Also, I think that extra light / reflector on the rear is India specific. I dont see it in any american pictures.

Any idea about Bangalore on road price? Especially when the ad has come in papers today!

Should look good in black..with some better looking deep dish and larger tyres.

No ideas at this point in time. I've no real reason to change car now..
