When it comes to handling we know who the real winner is!

Also like the Getz vs fusion vs Swift thread there will be a lot of people who havent driven either of the cars that will vote.

Iv driven 2/4 so wont vote at this stage.

Its after all the latest launch in the market with a fantastic engine thrown into a decade-old car!

This very much decade old car still has potential to give fight to new-gen hatches like Swift n Getz.. It is itself a big achievement...

After 49 votes its Palio who is leading the race. So Fiat definetely has a chance to pounce back !

Have any one of you guys(who ever have voted) test driven a GETZ crdi 1.5L

req u to do that first and then cast ur votes...

GETZ crdi is far ahead of all the other cars.. either its the winner of this poll or probably we have to take away getz as its 1.5L where as all others are 1.3L

My vote Palio 1.3.

I think that because of its heavy weight, this car will have less vibrations on diesel engine.

Aren't we jumping ahead with this poll? Of all these cars only the Swift DDis and Getz Crdi are avaliable. Even out of these, the Getz Crdi seems like the "ghost who walks." No one is sure if the car really exsists!

Apart from the engine specs, we know nothing about the Palio and Indica. Pricing and features will play an extremely important role in deciding the winner. Would both these cars or either of them give ABS and Airbags? What about waiting period? I am sure no matter how good, the Palio will be avaliable off the shelf so would that play a role in the results tilting towards Palio or Indica? Currently voting for the Palio and Indica would be purely on speculation.

BUT, if I have to vote now (I haven't voted), after all the issues I have faced in my SX4 and with Maruti dealers competing and outdoing Tata-Fiat dealers in (in)efficiency, the Palio would probably take the honours from me. At least Fiat knows how to make cars that go straight!

I go with narayan & burnt, this is not the time to discuss this. only 2 out of the 4 cars are out & of the 2 only one has had any good numbers in sales. Could we have this poll after a few months please ?

I agree its quite early for predicting about 1.3 Dicor LOL ! ...Incase of Palio

Car- Weight is more or less going to be 20Kg+- 1.6 Stile's weight
  • Power - A bit lower than Swift
  • Interior-Same
  • Price - Known

It is heartening to see Palio in the Lead.

However, here are my choices.

No 1 position to Swift DDis: For being the market leader and bringing value proposition to the customer. It is Maruti that made others get off they a$$es and join the race. So No 1 is Maruti

No 2 to Palio: Killer engine, Quality of build and price point

No 3 to Getz Crdi: Costly , No ABS option.

Having said that I have booked my Getz Crdi and eagerly awaiting the delivery

Now, isn't that an irony ?? you are buying the car that you have rated 3rd best among 4.

What is more ironic is that my first instinct was to vote for Palio D. I am cheering for Palio D to be a grand success.

Yes you are right that I have booked the car that I rated 3rd. But I was trying to be impartial .

I selected the Getz because of more legroom. It is as simple as that. The monster engine is just an incidental bonus. But not all people are 6'1'' wight 118 Kgs and travel between madras and bangalore almost weekly.

From the average person's point of view Swift is the winner. However I secretly hope that Palio D would dethrone Swift

Are you meaning Palio D as in 1.9D or soon to be launched Palio 1.3JTD ?
