I don't really know. But the set up functions so nicely, I feel unsure whether a change in radius will require them to go back to the drawing board and end up with something that does not feel as right in terms of feedback.

I had a Palio 1.6 Sports since Oct'06. Recently it got totalled in an accident. Looking back on the whole period, I have to say that it was no doubt a great car to drive, solid build quality and excellent ride/handling, great VFM, basically everything you would want in a hot hatch!!

Yes the fuel economy wasnt great but thats expected for a 1.6ltr/100bhp machine.

Anyway, whats maddening is the pathetic after sales support for Fiat. Even in the capital of the nation, there are only a handful of capable Tata-Fiat workshops. I could only find 2 anyway! (Nawab motors, Noida & Vivek Automobiles, Mathura road)

To say that servicing/repairs for Palio was a pain is a gross understatement.

Its a fact that Maruti beats everyone hands down on the after sales front, closely followed by Hyundai. For this reason alone and after my experience with Palio ownership, I have voted for Swift DDIS which has a peppy engine coupled with diesel economy. Might be my next car!

they should have worked on the car before working on that ad. While noise levels are negligibe the vibrations are really on a higher level. Or is this the new mobile phone fiat was talking about last year?

Swift Swift Swift Swift Swift Swift!!!

I'm loving it. The handling, the tightness, the mileage, the amazing ability to oversteer (I hope those aren't famous last words!).

But Rahul doesn't have OZs yet. Or will it be gifted soon to him by his dearest friend?

Congrats on your latest possession! C3PO.

Actually I wanted to be a bit like finneyp, but they didn't have the MJD available. So atleast I got a Fiat engine.

I guess you bought your Swift D recently, had you waited a while, you would have been a proud owner of Palio MJD!

Nevertheless, Congrats on your new car with a Fiat engine!
