- A petrol guzzler that never lets you down in terms of power.
- Alloy Wheels
- Leather Gear and Steering.
- Antenna
- Fog Lamps (Are they there in the Diesel??)
If you look at Palio 1.6 Sports (not stile), it has Spoiler and stone guard. These two enhance the looks of Palio IMHO.

Wheels

let alone alloys, they dont even come with 14". Thats a shame. A difference of 6 Nm would not make any user perceivable difference in performance, but probably affects the FE. 1-2 kmpl more than the Swift DDiS is good too. Fiat enthusiasts, any clue when you can get the TD reports in here.

When it comes to features, these diesel variants are always stripped down . Just hate it.
Getz D bites the dust....or has already bitten

Palio's low sitting position makes sense on long ride.

Source: Fiat website.
The 1.3 Multijet 16v is a 1248 cc 4 cylinder in line power unit, chain-driven timing system with rocker control (a maintenance-free solution), hydraulic tappets, a cast iron crankcase with an aluminium base, an aluminium cylinder head and steel crankshaft and connecting rods. The 1.3 Multijet 16v uses DOHC and is provided with a turbocharger with wastegate and intercooler. It also features an electronically-controlled EGR system and an exhaust gas cooling device: the 1.3 Multijet 16v already meets Euro 4 emission limits. It is also one of the very few engines in the world to achieve this result without adding a sophisticated exhaust post-treatment device such as a particulate trap.

I was wondering how will advertisement campaign will be between Maruti and Fiat. Always, Maruti will show the 6Nm of torque as main thingy saying improves the driveability, better pick up etc.. but they dont acknolwedge that they are using Fiat Multijet engine publicly..

why not may I ask ? When you are comparing the features compare the whole hog - why compare slectively ? ABS is a huge feature that Swift offers on the top end version.

Quote:
The Palio Stile MultiJet
- Digital Clock
- Rear Wiper & Washer
- Rear Demister
- Fire Prevention System (FPS)
- Double Crank Prevention System
- Reverse Gear Lock
I could be wrong here but the clock, rear wiper , demister, FPS , reverse gear lock were all available in the earlier Palio's too - what's new ? Biege interiors ? Brushed Aliminium finish - even was available on the 1.6 GTX and the S10.

Quote:
The Swift DDiS
- Light-off/key reminder
- Driver's seatbelt warning lamp
- Tripmeter (digital display)
- Key not removed warning buzzer
- Black coloured A- and B-pillars
- Antenna
As far as I know the Palio also offers an antenna.

Also the Swift top end version has alloys right ? Does the Palio have it ?

If two cars use the same engine and one of them is in a Maruti, Which one would a buyer pick ? Fiat will be advertising for Maruti if they mention both engines are same.

If we are comparing the hot hatches, I think we should include the Skoda Fabia as well, nonwithstanding its higher price point. Not that I am a great fan of Skoda and their ilk.

Because the price range is on a much higher side and the waiting period is quite long. I thought it would be better to compare simmilar priced variants.

I was comparing it with the swift not he older Palio/Stile

As far as I know the Palio also offers an antenna.

Not mentioned in the Diesel Version.

NO. Not the Diesel Swift or Palio.
My comments in Bold.
