Tracing last car challan online - Delhi Traffic Police Site

Here's the link to track your vehicle if it has been challened in past. This is the site of Delhi Traffic police and hence applicable to vehicles registered in Delhi only.
Just type in your complete car number and search. It'll show the challan but does not seem to be updated for the "Status". Quite handy to trace record of any vehicle for second hand deals.

The link shows a page with a button. After typing in the number, you MUST click on the button. Pressing ENTER key does NOT do anything.

Is there a place site where I can see, who the owner of the car is?

thanks for bringing it to my notice. I just notice my bike has a defective number plate challan!! arghhh and I've not even gotten a letter for the same! *&@(*(#@#@...

Now bigger koshun - how/where do I go and settle the fine? argghh, one day wasted too!!

normal
like if your number is DL1C AH 1234
then enter DL1CAH1234

Luckily Both VTECs dont have any Challans

exactly the case with me. i have a pending challan dated April 27. 2007 and havent received anything yet? how to go about it?

Hopefully they dont store the car #s after the query and use them in their random challan generation software...

It seems the posted URL for Delhi Police's online checking of challans is not working any more (the site name seemed a temporary server anyways).

Does anyone know what the current working URL is for checking of challans in Delhi ? A friend of mine needs to shift to another city very soon, and he wants to check if there are any pending challans, to take care of the NoC process smoothly ?

If you ahve a pending challan please visit the traffic lines near teen murti with the slip giving details of the offense and the date. They will settle it their and then.

The problem is to find if there is any traffic violation on the car when the owner has not received intimation (could be lost, or wrong address or whatever ?
Is that also possible to find at police lines @ Teen Murti just on the basis of car registration number ?
