What are they doing to the Palio :(.

IMHO, The best Palios were the NV's. The Stile is hideous, and now this 2008 model :(. omg...

Just as much as I am hoping that FIAT will launch the new palio, one can clearly see the demise of the palio in India in a couple of years. A bread and butter car in other markets has a sales target of 2000 cars per year in India....It seems the current palio is more of a stop gap arrangement...
I dont think the Palio Stile is the car to bring FIAT out of its current situation. I think they need a fresh start...and punto and linea will provide it.

Checked the website. The interiors are really done well. I wud prefer the 1.6 sports with these kind of interiors.

Looks like Fiat is migrating slowly towards Grande Punto from Palio. The later generation of the 2008 would look as Grande Punto.

OT: Has anyone noticed that the SX4 and the Punto have a very similar looking area around the A pillar

Here's some more of that cheap Grande Punto look-alike.The interiors are good enough, but where is the character?

Álbuns da web do Picasa - autodiario - Novo Palio

The Petrol engine options for Brazil are great though: - 1.0 L 8V FIRE, 1.4 L 8V FIRE & the awesome 1.8 8V from GM
There is a new 1.9 engine from the Fiat's "Torque" series which would probably replace the 1.8!

Whats the end of the 2008 Mark IV Palio, we still are getting the Mark I and by the time the product cycle of the Mark IV ends then only we will get the Mark IV with Mark I interiors.

hey Busa the palio we have in India is the Gen 2 (nv and previous) and Gen 3 (christened stile). but i seriously agree with roms that this Gen 4 palio has lost all of its character. i hope this machine never makes it way to India

this is hardly a "new Model"- just a face lift- the doors and the greenhouse stay the same as the current car. decent interiors though!

2008 Palio...will it be in India?

Will palio be face lifted again in India with a fresh interior and exterior to compete in the market with other products and their own future products to be launched.
The 2008 Palio in the Brazil market looks great. It has got a very good interior too.Your comments on it please
