as i've heard that they are having a problem with the bhp, so it might not be here.
Problem with the bhp ? Whats that!

HM-Mitsu rather launch the new gen Lancer which is an Evo lookalike atleast! Does the current Lancer even sell 50 units/month ?

no way 295 hp beast for 21 laks my guess is 35-40 lacks on road bangalore.
21 lacks will be for a new lancer which is identical to the evo but with around 160 or so bhps to spare..
HOPE Mitsubishi proves me wrong then ill gladly eat my words and go get an EVO(let it be beg borrow steal )

Actually those huge rear spoilers provide rally identity to Evo and Subaru WRX STi sedan ( discontinued). With out that Evo looks just like Lancer ralliart.

When I spoke to the HM guys who had come down from Chennai they seemed to be pretty positive of launching the new gen Lancer mid this year. They had also told me that the chances for Evo coming in looks grim, with the present market conditions.

By HM's standards, the present generation (international) Lancer might get launched here when Generation- 5 Honda City reaches our shores. And it shall have a 73bhp petrol engine, with BS3 (4,5,6?"option" ) to match its "rally bred pedigree".

I owned a Lancer before, it was a wonderful car in those days. But the Cedia let us all down- not enough size, no Diesel engine, bad positioning and a lack of interest from the manufacturer.

hey i do reseach for automotive components manufacturers, things aint no going good for auto makers, Mitsubishi Motors is already bearing huge losses. There are possibilities that they may pull out of india as their partner HM is going through their worst phase till date. they are running out of cash and possibilities that the company may or may not stand tomorrow.

whether they get evo to india or not i hope they dont have stop making it.

Even ignoring this post, we all know that the Evo X coming is a big hoax. Mods please change the title of this thread or close it.

The Beast Got Faster

You can choose to ignore my last post but not this 1

the Beast has just got faster.

Our EVO X has got new turbo upgrades from its turbo charger supplier Honeywell. The garrett turbo charger upgrades have made this rally-bred machine even more faster. It will now be able to pull out 525 HP out of the same 2 litre engine.

HOWZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!

Read an article on AutocarIndia about Mitsubishi to launch Evo X by this year end. Does anyone here know about this, any confirmation ?
