Even 6-8 kmpl would be a tall order. Wonder if anyone buying it would drive sedately enough to eek out that much of efficiency from the engine.

Fingers Crossed !!! Lets hope it's priced decently !! So I can dare to ask my father for one

BTW going for a test-drive hopefully in a day or two here in Oxford. Had to pretend on the phone that I am a businessman (am a student though)

Will give my impression on how it feels the FQ300 SST !!

My biggest worry for the Evo is the company reputation (Hindustan Motors). Most people dont want to spend even 12L on Cedia due to HM name.

Alright people, the dumb folks at Mitsubishi India finally have an "Arriving Soon!" flyer on the Mitsubishi India website for the Mitsubishi EVO X! Check it out on - Mitsubishi Motors @ the bottom left corner.
And when you click on it. Viola! Nothing happens.
Now, we really can't expect Mitsubishi India to do anything right, can we ? Sorry, HM India.
My bad.

No offence vineethvazhayil, but my point here is that Mitsubishi India is nearing the launch of the most HALOed car in it's entire lineup. A vehicle that's gonna get the aura back around the Mitsubishi brand name and get people to take notice of it all over again.

And all that they gotta show for it is one measly flyer stuck somewhere down in a corner of their website which asks you to patiently stare at it until thy kingdom come.

I mean come on, get some life into it, inject some enthusiasm, do a God awesome campaign that matches the car's legendary status.
Maybe, that's asking for too much from Mitsubishi / HM India. They could atleast have a link or something that opens up and directs you to Intl. Mitsubishi website where people could get a complete lowdown about the EVO X. But then hey, that's asking for too much.
OR
Maybe there could have been a stopwatch/timer until the launch of the EVO X.
Alrite, my bad.

Nah.
The EVO-X wasn't test driven by HT, it was done by Autocar India.
And so was the article.
HT just sourced it from ACI. Check the credentials at the end of the article. It says - Autocar India.

Saw the article in HT. I guess the model which is launched in India does not have that in-dash DVD. Though it has the Rockford Fosgate music setup.
