That should be around 55 lacks plus on road. Well, a 400 BHP would have still justified the price a little. But an EVO is an EVO...so price is always secondary.

12 cars in stock ready for sale !!!

I am sure they can sell these in the first few days.. a lot pf people waiting for EVO for ages.

I hope my dad lets me buy one
All the best.
I recently got an opportunity to drive an EVO, though it was only a slow and short drive, I just loved to sit in it.

Shared my experience here. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/2130239-post64.html

Why such low warranty ?

Just as i thought , did you guys see the warranty for an Evo , it's just 6 months or 10,000 Kms whichever comes first. At least it's better that what we get here in Kuwait(There's absolutely no warranty here for it).

Pricing is more or less the same considering the import tax's levied on it, it should cost somewhere in the 50 laks bracket.

Not very surprised at the warranty terms - Considering the car that it is, no owner is going to drive it kindly! But yeah at least a year of warranty was necessary, the way it is now, the customer confidence in the car will go even lower!

They should now ensure that the 2010 lancer is bought in fast to cash in on the publicity on the EVO.

Also guys EVO X or the 370Z

EVO X - 56 on road Delhi

370Z - 63 on road Delhi

What'd u manage to drive a 320, 360 or a 400..My Mitsui fever started after I came back to India from UK. I did see a couple of evo 8 and 9s but there were a lot of sedan STisss.

Yea lets hope so my dad agrees to get me one but the chances are like 10 %

If your dad agrees (I hope he does), then we BHPians will have two reasons to visit agra, one to see the Taj Mahal and the other to see the EVO.

Well, HM doesnt seem to be in a mood to launch the lancer. I came across these articles in The Hindu, a couple of months back..

The Hindu : Cities / Chennai : HM to double its TN plant capacity by 2012

The Hindu : Life & Style / Metroplus : HM to beef up Mitsubishi line-up

Rehaan.. Wasnt the Evo X launched quite sometime back? I was in Chennai in September and the showroom near Besant Nagar on the road that connects you to ECR had the Evo X on display and bookings were on. No test drive that time though.

50 Lacs is simply preposterous !!!!

The other 50L options are much better in the market .. A6/5 series/E classs/TT

I agree with Niks. 50 L is just way too much money for too little on offer.

And Mitsu as a brand neither has that kind of a presence, to command such prices.

Enthusiasts who know the Evo legacy aside, a common man may just think it is a souped up Lancer or something.

Mitsu/Lancer had a command and a following in India, in the erswhile era a decade back.. Not anymore.
