How is Dzire with full load ?

After a lot of thinking of replacing my loved Palio 1.2, Dzire seems to be the best option for me.

When I thought of replacement, these thing comes to my mind.

1. Overtaking on highway should not be a problem.
2. 4 onboard with loads of luggege, car should be able to perform well.
3. Fuel efficient.
4. For weekend drives 200 KM and 2 long drive (2000 + 2000 KM) in a year. (My current running in Palio is 12000+ KM in a year.
5. Ground clearance should be adequte to handle Indian road specially on long drives. I will manage on shorter run.
6. 5 lakh was the budget, can increase a bit.
7. No no indigo.

I will take test ride on weekend, thinking of brining atleast 3 friends with me, so that I can feel the load factor with 5 onborad (including sales person)

Did we really need a new thread for this?

Regarding the performance, it should be more or less same as that of the hatch, considering that it's only 30 kg heavier.

I suggest you take some heavy suitcases too. That will be a complete test.

Maybe this thread should be placed in the "what car?" section than here.

You'll probably get your answer once you take the TD.

With whatever loads in the dzire it should be drivable and sweet. We had done his test to know what would be the effect. It was perfectly ok and the braking in dezire has improved considerably too.

When I TDed the car, we were 5 khate peete ghar ke log. Back seat was a bit of a squeeze but the diesel engine had enough power to pull us all with ease. I actually clocked 100 in 4th gear without realising it in no time.
