Can you provide me some details when it's going to be launched (Diesel Version)? What will be the approximate price (Ex-Showroom)?
What will be new features as compared to its older version?
Do you think it can better all new BMW 320D Highline and Mercedes CDI?

I am told that the new A4 would probably be launched in the next 2 to 3 months.

Petrol options will be the 1.8 Turbo and 3.2 FSI.

Diesel would be 2.0 TDI.

Again, this information is what was handed down to me by the Audi guys at the AutoExpo in Delhi.

IMO it cannot better BMW and Benz

Look at the autocar uk site for reviews of the cars in question. Also you can search for other international reviews where the car has been tested. It is said to be a lot better than the current version but not upto BMW standards in driving experience.
Prices will be tough to predict as there is a possibility that the new A4 will be assembled in India which will allow them to price it competitively. IMO there wont be much deviation from BMW and Merc prices.
