Just read Fortpoint GM's advert in mid-day. The chevy SSR and Corvette are on display there.

that same blue colored corvette was on display in noida last summers.

haha, that same 'vette was here in Chennai recently, I got to mess around with it. Its huuuuuge and brilliant.

Yeah read bout the same. But is it reallly the same one???

X

Haven't seen it, so I can't say if it's the same one or not, but there was a metallic blue Corvette at the HM dealership at Cadbury in Bombay last year some time. Sounds to me like it's doing the rounds trying to drum up some sort of excitement for the Chevrolet brand in India, while, ironically, abroad the dilution of the Chevrolet brand means that Corvettes are actually being sold in Cadillac dealerships in Europe! rl: Way to go GM!

Forget the 'vette, I wanted to see the SSR. But no luck, the Mahalaxmi Fortpoint did not have any cars on display.

Anyone have an idea where they would be now?

Yeah, I almost sure it is, the Lemans Special edition blue convertible.

Is the SSR still there... wanna see it!!

but why is chevrolet displaying the old corvette here in india when new corvette 2005 has been launched?

Because the car was imported a year or so back and they don't want to re-export it. In any case, it's not like they are trying to sell Corvettes here, so it's irrelevant which model they display, it's just to showcase what Chevrolet has in their stable!

CORVETTE'S interior is like a cockpit of a fighter jet; Me likey
