svsantosh cheers:

Should be the 1.3MJD. Only it can keep the price down. Hope the fit and finish is like what it used to be for Fiat.

Very very nice scoop svsantosh. The car looks well built and makes its presence felt on the road. I hope Fiat launches this car with a 1.9 Multijet powerplant. Fiat cm on launch the GP and the Linea now. Thanks once again for sharing the pics.

Nice to see Linea on Indian roads, hope Fiat India is on track for the mid-year launch of this stylish sedan!

Nice. I hope we seem them in the showrooms soon - the C+ segment is getting rather boring.

Hi All thanks for the comments,

It did not look like a auto ancillary unit testing it around hosur, Must be a north-south run probably started a few days ago in chennai or Kanyakumari, who knows!

Not Exactly bangalore, But 30kms down south, But I tracked it till Elec City, so another 10Kms bang' Inside B'lore. Hope any other BHPian saw it today.

Nice scoop! Did you confirm that it was a RH driven vehicle and not an imported LH driven one?

Nice scoop Santhosh.

The car is looking really good in the colour. I hope they get the pricing right.
I am not hoping much on the service front coz they used to suck ,they suck and they will keep sucking.

It can comfortably sell close to 3500 a month if they provide the service back up for the same.

Well, if we try and guess a launch date based on the time span between the first 'stile' sightings on the road to the date it was actually launched, we can safely assume this car should hit the showrooms by early 2010.

Keep your fingers crossed that this will get to the showroom floors quicker!
