Imagine if VW buys Fiat, will you guys here pay 15 lac for VW Linea ? I am pretty sure no one would have paid the premium Skoda charges if VW was not behind the company.

sorry guys I know a little compare to you people about history.

Another Fiat thread slowly spiralling out of control. Can we stick to the topic, which is Linea. Who is interested in Skoda's past or Fiat's past??

Nice one! Saw two white Lineas in Chennai airports international cargo. Is the impending launch gonna finally happen soon. Fiat head spoke about mid-2008 launch?

Gopal did you see it on the day or 2 ahead of this thread started? I feel these are the 2 cars I saw in Hosur.

I agree. We should stick to whether Linea is / will-be a good car or not. Then we can later discuss about whether it is worth buying when the price is out considering other parameters like after sale service, spare parts cost. It is even sometimes waste to talk about resale value and all that, because a car that sells will autimatically have good resale value.

I feel that it is not worth discussing whether Fiat will recover or Linea will sell right now. It is like the TV channels predicting election results. Sure, we can talk what is good and what is not good. Another probable Linea owner trying to defend its image

hey, atharmansoor, Good pics !!! though I wish you could have somehow manged some front views.

The way it has been "camouflaged", and the badge and marque hidden, i think it is definitely a yet-to-be launched model. Looking at the flared wheel arches, it could be the Ford Focus 2008 !!!

Maybe it is in Pune related to some ARAI testing/certification.

I guess the car is on its way to ARAI. great find! Looking at the way it has been pasted/painted, I am assuming its launch date is pretty soon.

Tushky,

Your work starts now! All the best mate!
