Great pictures but Nissan needs to be aggressive to make its presence in Indian market. Infact should etch from this segment atleast to make to numbers.

i just love Nissan cars and wish to see them earlier than 2010. There is enough room for them and their cars in the market.

Their C segment Tiida is a good prospect for india along with Murano

Wow not to mention my hot fav 350Z beauty on wheels (i am dreaming now)
will it come to India (duty-less), not in the near future.

Why would this car be visible in Delhi with a reg plate if the launch is so far off?

Deepak, the pic of Micra posted by Manveet is of the Present Micra. Nissan
is planning to launch the Next Generation Micra in India in 2 years.

Yes the new 2010 Micra pictures have been revealed by autocar UK. Its much more refined aesthetically and appears to have the potential to lead in the premium hatch "B" segment once launched in India.

Sketch of Next Gen Nissan Micra/ March

Source : Mag- X Magazine

Quote:
Nissan is working on the next generation March and according to Nissan design director Shiro Nakamura, the new Micra will carry Nissan’s new family look and will be designed to appeal more to the male audience but at the same while keeping a cute look. A sketch shown above from Mag-X magazine shows that the new Micra still has the round headlamps that contribute to its “cute” factor. You can also see the typical modern Nissan grille there with the two slanted vertical bars flanking the logo.

That the Renault-Nissan near Chennai is getting ready for production is evidenced by this ad in one of the local newspapers here in Chennai. I wonder if the technology center mentoned in the ad is specific to the Chennai factory , or for R&D in Renault-Nissan products worldwide?.
