Fiat to revamp its image; gears up for new launches

source: Fiat to revamp its image; gears up for new launches- Automobiles-Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times

In this article there is a mention of Fiats signature store being in operation in bangalore since april,
Where is this?, is it any of the same tata fiat showrooms?
has any of the bhpians visited this store?

I remember someone posting pictures of the models displayed in the Red & White store which has opened in Bangalore. Also, the article mentions that GP will come early next year. Battle half lost?

I sincerely hope that Fiat revemps their lost image fast. I am a very keen buyer for cars like Linea & Grande Punto. But looking at their past and their present, it is not so appealing to prospective customers.

The Fiat Palio is again taking a hit because of poor marketing and lack of interest from Tata Sales guys. They push tata's sales But hardly push the Palio's sales.

I dont think that would be the case. The dealer is not a TATA associate (I would guess) and has the chance to make money from sales of both cars. So the bias is unlikely. Maybe the sales person has not been properly trained (yet)?

No offense but these press releases from FIAT are beginning to sound like election promises - the same stuff every couple of years.

Promises, Promises and Promises!

The biggest myth being fetched around these days is that Fiat cars aren't being pushed by it's dealers. If somebody has proof of it, then they should forward that to FiAT India. Because, when they entered into an agreement with TATA, I'm sure they should have covered this part too. And if there's any unwillingness shown by a partner, then by all means the other one is being made a fool. I don't think FiAT can be that bad to not understand that.

BTW, the new showroom by Tata-FiAT at Mysore road is splendid and very attractive. Hope each and every showroom of their's were made like this one.

general public is not aware of a car like Linea and GP. And are not looking forward to buying a fiat car.

fiat is wasting its money in planting stories in newspapers on impending launches. On the contrary, it appears they dont have their ducks in order. They continue to delay the launch.
