There is problem with braking and 2 more issues:
One is the reverse hear, it gets a little struck sometimes.
2nd is the noise it makes while running.
I visited the showroom and they confirmed these 3 problems and told me that they would be gone by first service.

Its kind of a noise which you get from tyres. I have Michelin XM1's (185X70X14) fitted in my car. First I thought, may its the tyres. Got it checked, was told the noise would go in first service.

Maruti should come up with the scheme as all Construction builders are doing in metros. You can book your flat/apartment 1-2 yers in advance. You pay by instalments as per the work progress and you can see tha actual work going on for your flat!!!

The main problem could be the lack of capacity in the Manesar plant which makes the Swift, SX4 and now the Dzire. Unfortunately, the production of Dzire cannot be changed to Gurgaon plant where there is a little bit of surplus capacity as the M800 volume has gone down. Also, there is a shortage of diesel engines. So all this causes problems for delivery

Right. Production capacity seems to be the culprit. I have driven dzire and didn't find any problem either with the brakes or the gear. These are just rumours.

There is no brake problems as such reported. But many have said that the brakes could have been better as the power is on the higher side, like in the verna.Next month onwards allocations are doubled for all dealers. So we can hope that the waiting period would come down.

I don’t know what exactly is wrong with their extended delivery schedule, but it has definitely affected the numbers as myself know at least 3 cases where the Dzire order has went to Logan/Indigo
