Visited TATA dealer (A1 Motors), they confirmed the launch of Xeta LPG and gave a broucher also, but pricing will be available in 2-3 days time. They could not give any info on New Indica.

The Indica X1 is the new indica - not a facelift of the current one but a new car on a new platform

Xeta LPG?Is it a good option?I believe it would be in the same old shape to begin with.LPG version of wagon r isn't doing good as a result of the wavering prices of LPG.Santro LPG is also kept on hold then why xeta LPG?

As mentioned by CaAT, the new Indica is being tested in and around Pune without any cladding. The car looked pretty much the same car as seen in Delhi expo. The interiors were the same as seen in the expo.

The guy who was driving it got very agitated about me clicking pictures though i have no idea why cause there was no cladding and everybody has seen the car in Delhi. The one where he is seen in the picture really made him lose it, he said he knew what i would use the picture for. I suggested that i delete it but he started abusing me and tried to prevent me from taking any more pictures. I just started laughing at his thinking that people will be interested in his photographs and what he thinks i will use his pictures for. At this point he drove away sadly before I could take an interior picture.

Have to say though that I am not a big fan of the headlight assembly and also the tail lights which have become more squarish. The headlight together with the bloated side forward panels really take away what little lines the V2 had. I am no designer so this is just my opinion.

Though what is good is that the new dashboard is much much better than the last one and the beige colour really lightens the mood inside.

The whole car from the outside looks over weight for some reason. It just seems unwieldy or maybe it looks like that because of the color.

For me the front looks like i10 and rear like a Fusion. is it only me? May be due to the head and tail lamps I guess.

Looks wise I dont see any major change from the current indica apart from the headlamps and the grille. I suppose what is meant by the facelifted indica is and enhancement to the enteriors. Any changes to the engine specs?
