| MicroVBB security system
Todays DNA Mumbai edition has interesting story: A Scorpio fitted with MicroVBB(?) security was stolen from Marine Drive. The security system is tied up with GPS and mobile phone service. It alerted the owner on his mobile phone. Owner rushed to Police station and showed locations of the car as it was driven by thieves. Police refused to belive and laughed at the owner. Finally they were convinced that this is genuine as the GPS showed valid locations. Finally they went with owner to Kalyan (50 KMS) and recovered the vehicle. Thieves had to brek things to come out as the owner had locked the doors remotely so that they wont open from inside.
Police did not know that such a product exists. The article mentions price as Rs 15K
