Re: Fiat - Bravo in India?

There are many Bravo's in India, mostly used by Fiat's employees, and some Alfa's too

Re: Fiat - Bravo in India?

Fiat Bravo is one stunning looking vehicle. I have seen a couple of them recently here in Germany. They look gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm not sure if Fiat will launch this in India. But if it does and if priced appropriately I guess it should sell some decent numbers.

am I late in discovering this
Yes - they have some teasers on website about 2 Years back - coming soon kind off - eventually they held back the plans , maybe in there Fourth attempt ( if I am not wrong ) we may see these cars .

Edit - the screen shot actually appeared on 24th August 2011 as per google cache

This is Google's cache of http://www.fiat-india.com/bravo-img-...aspx?ModelId=3. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 24 Aug 2011 15:09:02 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime.

So is something indeed cooking up or just IT mistake ?

Re: Has Fiat started selling the Bravo in India?

Most likely a CBU launch in a couple of months time may be. If so, this is going to be an extremely niche vehicle, since it will be a hatchback costing around 20L.

They should atleast bring in the Bravo and 500 in CKD form.

Re: PIC : Is the Fiat Bravo already here?

Seems FIAT India is all set to Launch the Bravo. Got information from reliable sources that FIAT has already stocked up few Bravo's and they would be launched anytime soon.

It's gonna be launched with the 1.6MJD and to be priced at about 17 Lakhs. Hope it hits the market soon.

Fiat Bravo with the 1.3 MJD is grossly underpowered. The Bravo is quite huge and unlike other hatches available here.

The 1.4 T-Jet in higher state of tune might be ok, but this begs for a 1.6 MJD with VGT.

But on some other Fiat related thread, somebody had posted about the CEO statement that there would be no new cars launched until 2013. This piece of news is really contradicting.

Re: Has Fiat started selling the Bravo in India?

For Bravo, I would prefer 2.0L JTD. I am not impressed with even 1.6 for 1.9.

Re: Has Fiat started selling the Bravo in India?

Guys!
This car is not coming to India. Not anytime soon.
This teaser was there in Fiat website from time im-memorial.

Even if they launch the Bravo. (Which is highly improbable) they will give it a detuned engine. So I would not keep my hopes high, no matter what.

I don't think that fiat will make such a mistake. They may price it somewhere near Linea. The Fiat 500 comes for 16 L, the Bravo will be less expensive than that.

There are a few imported Bravo's already running in India. Except for the Blue and Maroon, there's also a Black one in Mumbai.

Re: PIC : Is the Fiat Bravo already here?

All the best to FIAT launching a car at 17L. I am sure their spirit will R.I.P.

On a different note, if it's really true, then FIAT strategy is a little hard to fathom. What they need to do expressly is to build customer confidence rather than new launches.

Re: PIC : Is the Fiat Bravo already here?

It won't be 17 lacs.
They are stupid but not that stupid to price it at that level.

Half hearted strategy in my opinion.
