Nitrous old pal, if the thief has started the car, how will the steering be locked by the ignition key, huh ?

a car can also be jump started by connecting the wires from beneath the steering wheel.i think theives call it hot wiring.that way you bypass the ignition and the steering lock.

Nothing is foolproof I guess! Gear lock, steering lock... there are ways around them all.
Anyway, a gear lock seems to be the best option to me, and the least intrusive one. Does anyone have a picture of a gear lock installed in a car? Preferably a pin-lock type, because I'm not keen on fitting a big a** U-type lock and messing up the interiors!
The Xenos brand of locks seems ok... will have to make the decision soon.
If anyone can post a picture or a link of an installed gear lock, I'd be grateful if they shared it!
