Some speculation on pricing of New City :-
  • City S MT - THB559,0000 (approx.)
  • City S AT - THB589,000 (approx.)
  • City V AT - THB620,000 (approx.)
  • City V AT(SRS)- THB640,000 (approx.)
  • City SV AT(SRS) - THB695,000 (approx.)
1 THB =1.2897 INR

According to Honda Salesman in Thailand New city might be a tad cheaper than the Honda Jazz hatchback!

Small cars are Niche there. A Yaaris is a bit more expensive than Toyota Vios. there isnt much of a middle class there in main cities...people either have money or they have a financed pickup truck (my guess). even for Nissan the hatchback TIIDA costs more than the sedan version. its like Indica same spec is expensive than Indigo same spec.

Neo_trace, Great photos. The new one looks really good. If Honda places it in the same price as the current City, this will fetch lot of customers

I am getting very excited now . I am feeling each min as an hour. It is really becomming very difficult to wait for tomorrow.

I was not even as excited when Altis was launched....... but looks like I am having lot of expectations from Honda this time. Keeping my fingres cross eagerly waiting for tomrrow.
