Filled up at Raidurgam filling station outside Hyderabad, Regular Unleaded Petrol was priced at Rs. 76.75 a liter, while PSU bunks (including a nearby Essar pump) sell regular petrol around 74 rupees a liter.

Filled up my ANHC 2 days back at Shell Varthur at 74.65 for normal petrol. Today, when i went to fill my Alto , noticed that the price has increased to 76.00 for normal petrol

In Bangalore Shell Petrol has been increased to Rs.76/- This is because Shell become soo popular that many of them swicthed over from PSU to shell.

Got my tank filled up today at Dr. Rajkumar Road outlet. Not very surprised. We'll see a repeat of what happened early last year. Only thing it seems like Shell might hike the prices much higher citing a weak Rupee. The govt. will hold prices artificially low till the elections are complete.

Filled up at Shell yesterday and got a shocker its 76 INR. The attendant was telling the price would revised upwards again in a week.

Back to PSUs for now.

Yes, please go back for good reputed PSU Bunks and save 2 Rs per ltr. I find in Bangalore that BP next to imperial, BP in Lalbagh west gate, BP in Kasturba Rd are reliable in terms of quantity and quality.

In Pune, reputed PSU are Rs.70.50 while Shell is Rs.77.50.
Waiting for the price difference to drop to a few Rs before going back to Shell

Outside the city limits, its 74.xx for litre of unleaded Shell. a rise of almost 4 rupees in recent times.

For me, going to outside octroi Pune bunks is not a viable option. I would spend the saving I make in costs in the distance traveled to the bunk!
