![]() The pricing of 75.10 is there in a few Shell stations. I also saw it in that Shell between Kengeri and the outer ring road. What I understood is that it is BS III pricing and 75.90 is BS IV pricing. I may be wrong though, but seem to remember something similar from the Shell website too.

![]() My bad. Thank you very much for that clarification. Knew I had read something but couldn't remember what. So filling up on the outskirts of Bangalore if quality is the same is the best. Useful knowledge

![]() Hmmm ... So, filling up in Whitefield is preferrable over other parts of the city ? Suits me fine as I now stay and work in this area :-)

![]() Well, since whitefield comes under the rural area, you save that 80p a litre and it definitely makes sense if you live in that area. I wouldn't drive till there to fill up though. As long as shell prices stay the same as omc's then shell should be the preferred option

![]() Last Friday I happened to visit someone who stays very close to the Shell outlet on Kanakapura road and therefore tanked up my Cedia there. The price was Rs 75.15. The attendants told me the fuel was BS III. The Shell website seems to confirm this. Last edited by CBlazer : 30th September 2012 at 23:50.

![]() Filled up today at Shell on Bannerghatta Road. Was pleased to see the 75.15 price. My Fabia just revs smooth with Shell fuel ![]() I guess shell has taken a decision to make their stations for Petrol only vehicles and getting the quality competition with other players. I think it's a good strategy and might actually work in their favor. ![]()

![]() @Cblazer, so its BSIII petrol in Shell whitefield outlets, then... Wonder how Whitefield is considered bangalore-rural though ? Looks like classification unchanged for 5+ years ?
