Shell in India (fuel, lubes, outlets)

Shell Normal Unleaded is still 46.95 at Bangalore. Filled up an hour ago
BTW, got an unbelieveble mileage of 16 kmpl

on my last fill.
340 kms on 21.2 lit.This also had one airport to and fro(60 kms of highway) + 1.5 trip to Dakshin Honda on hosur road via ORR (120 kms). Still great mileage. Love my NHC.

Shell Rocks too!!

That's amazing since we Hyderabad folks have been shelling out more compared to you all!

Its 49.05 for the Normal Unleaded and 35.xx for Diesel.

So i guess unless the global crude prices relent, We are looking at increased fuel bills.

Price update in Pune on 01/07/2009:

Shell regular Petrol - 43.00
Shell Super Pertrol - 46.95

This was at the Shell bunk just ahead of Indira Institutes on NH4 (Pune to Bombay road). I tanked up yesterday.

OT : Last time I did a tankful at this shell bunk and my average dropped like anything. I always get 17 tp 17.5+ average ( BP or HP pumps), but this time I got only 14.35 which is awefully low. No other parameters changed - driving style and daily commute route is same. Looks like my Indica did not like shell

Shell at linking road? I think its changed to BPCL. There only one Shell RO i.e Thane Belapur Road.

Shell diesel in Bangalore is 36.85. I filled in yesterday. This is 40 paisa less than in other outlets.

Shell Diesel, here in Mumbai is priced Rs.37.65/liter, probably most expensive from anywhere in India.
