Filled up normal petrol in Vigannagar bunk @ 51.75/Ltr. This was the retail price for Shell normal for more than a couple of months I guess.

Thanks for this update. Seems like the price hike has happened in less than a week, I filled last Tue and it was 51.75 per litre, now its a 52.95 a clear Rs. 1.20 hike!

Ah! Now that PSU petrol is costlier, the crowd is back at Shell! Shell super unleaded @ Rs 55.65 compares very well with HP Power @ 54.10 at Chennai. As of now there is no price increase at Shell.

I am not sure how long will they sustain. Remember, Govt has not increased the price, it has simply increased the duty which should be applicable to even Shell???

Agree! I suppose they will wait and watch for any further adjustment "in the interest of the common man" before revising their rates!
