Not really, Shell is expensive in pune compared to Bangalore. See below.
Outside city limits (Hinjewadi), Shell retails at Rs. 58.25 (regular) & rs. 60 (Shell super) whereas in city limits it's Rs. 62.xx & Rs. 65.xx respectively.

I agree. Its bye bye shell for now. Shell seems to be pretty confident of sales though. A new shell pump is coming up at Lower palace orchards just before Bashyam circle.

Any good PSU pumps around indiranagar, Old madras road etc where quantity is correct? Whats the cost of fuel normal and premium at BP? Got a pump near Baghmane Tech park, can try if its worth. With shell- assured of Q & Q hence worth it.

Quality and reliability, Shell super does wonders if your car has been tortured with low quality fuel, My advise will be to fill up shell super once a month and use the regular petrol for the subsequent top ups.

Shell super unleaded is Rs 60.xx and normal is Rs 58.xx at Chennai now. As both my car and bike are on a diet of Shell super it pinches now - the difference over IOC Xtrapremium/HP Power is Rs 6.00 per litre. But as my usage of car is not much, I am sticking to Shell as of now.

Normal costs 53.71 IIRC. No idea about premium. I use normal + system G, and that works well enough for me.

Prices still increasing. Shell Super unleaded Rs 62.91, normal petrol Rs 61.46 and normal diesel Rs 46.54 in Chennai today. Learned the new prices implemented two days ago!

Normal petrol is Rs.10 more than the PSU bunks.
I stopped going to Shell six months back. Not worth the Rs.10 extra.

Cant quite figure out why they keep increasing prices.

Me stopped topping at Shell, as it is not worth spending so much extra. I am sure that Shell has enough of resources to keep the prices competitive.

I joined the Shell-shockeg club yesterday : went to tank up the truck first time this month. Pulled into a Shell bunk asked for a full tank. The attendent says "Hope you know the price - it's 45.11 a liter" . Me : WHAT !! that is a 12% premium over the regular. Said thank you & pulled out.

5% - ok, I will pay the extra. But 12% !!

I filled for Rs.1500 y/day and only when I was paying realized pertol almost shot up to 60/litre, i think the premium is not worth any more and I will now switch to a PSU station...

Any feedback on the Euro IV petrol?

I filled up my Cedia with Shell unleaded last week. Everything seemed okay till yesterday - I find the car shudders a bit when I start or stop the engine.

I filled IOC premium petrol from a reputed bunk for my bike instead of usual Shell super a couple of weeks ago. The mileage was comparable, so the Q&Q must have been OK. But the smoothness was missing. Also the engine tended to misfire when I closed throttle at a good clip, such as while coming down flyovers.

Waited for reserve, and again filled Shell super unleaded yesterday, gritting my teeth! Engine is back to butter smooth now, no misfires. Wondering what to do when the time comes to fill the Alto, which still has more than half a tank of Shell super. My mind says switch to PSU now, but the heart says reduce your usage if necessary, but stick to Shell super!

I am filling in a PSU bunk as well. Shell is incresing prices on a weekly basis with the international market. I do miss the smoothness of the engine. And there is some shuddring as well. I guess it the BSIV petrol
