Same in Bangalore too!
Just curious - do Shell have uniform pricing throughout the country?

I'd still prefer my regular IOC pump over shell. Don't really see the difference anyway.

Shell super price is 59.95 while IOC Xtrapremium is 61.XX in bangalore. So it makes sense in bangalore to go for shell. Most of the IOC guys put in a "Regular petrol no stock" board and force you to go for XtraPremium. Just tanked up yesterday on Hosur road. Felt good to go back to shell.

However, it looks like people are not aware of the price reduction. The bunk was deserted ( with only 1 machine operating ).

Thanks - That was the info I was looking for. But for normal IOC/BP petrol we pay more in Bangalore than Chennai (or anywhere else)

Today I had my second tank-full at Shell. Well, the bunk was not deserted, but very busy. It took me 15 minutes to get filled, card swiped etc.
Now a days I hear Shell also advertising their price on radio ads, so there is lot of awareness.
