![]() Even IOCL has not yet increased. I filled up today morning for the old rate of 59.XX. ToI had an article telling the hike is staggered to prevent the accusation of "cartelization" ![]()

![]() Filled up normal petrol at Shell today. The cost was 60.95/- . With the hike, does this mean Shell will be cheaper than the PSU outlets ?

![]() Just tanked up at Shell. The price is indeed Rs 63.45 / ltr. What's the new price in the PSU outlets? Last edited by CBlazer : 16th December 2010 at 09:12.

![]() Oops, looks like i missed the hike, was going to tank up but did not anticipate such a quick reaction from Shell. Question is that are they hiking up just because PSU's are or are they doing it to reflect the higher input costs? 3 Rs is a stiff jump!

![]() Today I went to Shell Next to Graphite Vicarb (whitefield-Bangalore) @ 6-45 in morning, they told they will open today @ 7 am as they are hiking the price. Earlier it used to open @ 6 am then they moved it to 6-30 am. Quitely moved back to Mats -HP and did a tankful of Diesel for Rs 42 , good Rs 8 less than Shell Diesel.

Infractions: 0/1 (5) | ![]() Perfectly right! I decided long ago not to look at PSU fuel till the price difference touched Rs 10.00 per litre! The small premium we pay now is easily justified by the quality, quantity, ambience and the relaxed filling of fuel / checking of air. The entire experience is very cheerful, unlike the dour one at most PSU pumps. |

![]() ...and that's why I have given up on Shell Diesel, and am happy with Reliance / IOC / BP. But I still give in to the Shell temptation once in a while, though. I can't say if it is just me, but the car does feel a lot more responsive with Shell inside ![]()

![]() Happened to go to Shell in Vyalikaval near Sankey tank. Price of Unleaded has shot up to Rs 64.45 and Super was around 67. Just left from there and filled from BP at the signal. Looks like international crude prices are directly proportional to Shell.
