Why cant shell reduce price on Diesel when petrol price at shell is hardly a Rupee more than other places.

That is right, I too would like to go back to shell diesel if the difference was a rupee or so . An extra 5 Bucks/litre is a little too much to shell out for shell.

In East Pune, both the Kharadi and Magarpatta stations have closed!
Drove past both of them today, for the Kharadi station, they have put covers on the pumping stations.
For the Magarpatta station, the entrance/exit are blocked off.

Saw this article in Business-Standard that Shell have put up 20 of its 80 outlets for sale:

Not good news for Shell fuel customers.

Saw a banner in the shell petrol bunk opposite to HP on the whitefiled main road. The new price is Rs. 58.10 per litre. Have the IOC, BPCL and HP bunk rates reduced?

Now the shell price is on par with the IOC, BPCL and HP petrol rates

Got multiple SMSes from Shell about Petrol being @ 58.10, this is just a paisa more than the holy trinity. Was there a drop in crude prices, or is it just a desperate attempt by Shell.

Another point is, it is more than 2 months since 'freeing' of petrol prices, and there has been NO revision since. How free was this freeing? Is it going to be same adage - prices can only go up.

Yupp. Same price near Kundalahalli gate Shell Petrol Pump. I have decided to go for shell from now on. Difference between shell and other petrol is less than a rupee plus car responds better with shell. I won't mind going 6km off way just to fill her up with shell.

I filled my tank at the Shell petrol pump near the forum value mall in Whitefield. The price was 58.10 per litre. In addition to that they gave me a free scale model of the Ferrari F430 and also a free windshield wash. They also gave me some card to fill and told me to bring it the next time I visit them. I wonder if that entitles me to some more discounts :P .

For Filling tanks, they are giving a 1:38 scale model of Ferrari cars. First time is the F430, then the F50, then Enzo and finally the F2005. The card given to you will help you get the cars. I have already got the F430 and the F50. Next in line is the Enzo
