Today I filled my bike for Rs 650.00 and was given a choice of one yellow cloth / one cadbury's chocolate. Even before I could utter a word, my son grabbed the chocolate!

With the Rupee appreciating against the $$ we should see a reduction of prices not an increase. Are petro companies busy making profits again.

@JVH, 97 octane for which car? If Palio, then don't. Its tuned for lesser fuel and compression, 97 won't make any difference other than waste money. Its available at BP bunk in Sadashivnagar though, priced at Rs.69 per litre.

Thanks! No, its not for the palio. I'm trying to take superbike purchase decision and was doing the due diligence in which fuel quality and pumps were also one of the parameters.

This bunk is near the intersection of the crossroads near Mast Kalandar, right? And does Shell also provide 97 Octane?

The location of BP bunk is right JVH, there are very few which sell it here in Bangalore. AFAIK, Shell doesn't sell 97 octane fuel. If they do, then let me know too, I filled 97 recently to Laura TSI which needs 95 octane to run optimally.

It is around 3 rupees and 25 paise more than other non-Shell bunks. Still worth it , if you ask me.
