I was checking this thread : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...y-no-pics.html

and I think this is what gregory was talking about.

It was fully covered up, front grills covered, alloy logos covered up very well they did a damn good job in covering this baby up. Took a peek inside when I got a bit close, it had a digital Speedo!

I wanted to take a pic of this but I was a tad too slow and there was too much traffic missed the chance.
I saw this over Mekhri circle. Anyone else catch a glimpse of this ?

This was a huge car, SUV for sure. My doubt is if it was a Scorpio or something else? Anyone else got a clue?

I also spotted the 2009 skoda superb on mysore road a couple of weeks back.
it was dark blue and had temp MH plates.
even these badges were covered.
when i saw it i dint know that it was the superb but knew it was some skoda.
Then on car and bike show i saw the car and then got to know that i had seen the 2009 skoda superb.

And one of my friend told me he had seen an evo that had crashed near le meridien.
This happened last saturday night.
anybody having info on that??

I'm not able to figure out as to which car this is.

cheers !!
My first guess would be that its Mahindra's new UV. But the headlamps look similar to the style used by Tata, while the overall profile reminds me of the Tavera.

Thanks for sharing the picture, Manish. Any chance of front / rear / more pics?

Looking at the wheels and the side view mirrors, it seems to be a Tata vehicle

Could it be a new generation Tavera? That could explain the MH plates (Gm has a plant in Talegaon, near Pune). GM also has a design centre in Bangalore.

This could be a possibility if we can conclusively decide that it is neither the Ingenio nor the Tata Xover.

looks more like the mahindra ingenio going by the profile or side view- it looks quite similar to the ingenio pics already posted
mahindra also has a plant in Nashik so temp MH Reg plates are perfectly plausible

Wheel covers are typical scorpio's, so has to be the Mahindra Ingenio

My 2cents worth to the speculation!

IMO its the new Tata Xover/Safari. I say this because the ORVM looks like that on the Safari.

Common dude. Compare the Scoop of Ingenio & Tata X-Over and you ll notice the diff. This is surely the Ingenio.
