CNG in TN - Coming soon

GAIL has found pockets of CNG resources in Pondicherry, Kadalur and Nagapattinam areas.
And they have made an agreement with TIDCO.
We're pretty soon gonna get some manure power!

What significance does that have to availability of automotive CNG? What is stopping them from selling CNG in Chennai just like they do in Delhi? Couldn't they transport in CNG from wherever it is currently processed just like they do LPG?

With imported fuel prices going through the roof, its high time CNG was made widely available.

And only then will the new-Gen "Duo" cars be able to sell pan-India
