i dont think HM will ever launch a 1.8 turbo lancer but they may launch the lancer 1.8 with a manual box soon along with a new 1.6 lt engine

launched a few days back.but it was a soft launch.

I have seen last week cars show in NDTV profit......the guy say HM introduce new LX and 1.8 trubo lancer.......

Any one seen last week show???????

I have stoped buying a 1.8 invex now.....

haha its a typo. tilll now cars are turbocharged NOT trubocharged...:)

past 3 days i was searching for more info but no use ......even dealers dont know.... The last week show in ndtv profit was a wast no info ....

i read about the mitsubishi carisma but i have not heard about the 1.8 turbo lancer,1.8 lancer is already here,but if the car comes here anyway i dont think the car will find many takers.

Just spoke to the HM dude in the Chennai car plant. Tere are plans for the 1.8 diesel turbo, but no plns for any petrol turbo.

They have plans to launch the CEDIA based platform as the new lancer with either a 1.8 or 2 litre engine. Has not been decided as yet. But I can confirm that there will be no 1.8 turbo petrol Lancer. Very Sad. Would have loved to pick up one of those.
