VXI and VXI ABS?

There is a slight difference in badges on the white splash in the first picture and the fifth one. The first one just has the vxi on it and the fifth one has vxi and ABS (most probably). Are the photos of the same car...Or is this some illusion

Yes and this means that diesel version will be available with ABS!

@ Madan80 : I think that A-star has tacho on the dash.

Great Post!

I thought the plastic used in the interiors looked cheap!

Mostly I believe that they are coming with 1.1 ltr engine from Wagon R.
Would seriously hope that they come up with a proper 1000cc K series engine.

Splash cannot have 1242 cc K- series engine available in UK because it crosses that crucial 1200cc mark and hence wont be applicable for tax concession.

Mods: Sorry for putting up and entirely back to back post. Actually I was replying to post above me.

Now where will Suzuki place these cars. Splash equal Swift or less? As it may have same DDIS engine. Finally waiting for swift will take back seat.

Anyways the final design of the splash looks very good for an all-india design.
Keep it up Maruti fellas . Promising times ahead for the Indian car design industry. Absolutely love the Splash's interior and exterior design, a radical positive shift from the boxy Wagon R. Hope that when the splash comes to the market it makes the overpriced and heavy i10 redundant.

Can someone send these images to Maruti Suzuki India Limited ( MSIL ) and ask for launch dates ?

I am posting an image where you can see that Splash has tacho placed on dash, but then the A/C vents are different.
Here the Shots they have got from India, the A/C vents of the car with tacho on dash are not matching with Splash.

Also note the gearstick;s location and compare with splash. The entire design of dashboard is different on the Indian car with on-dash speedo than the Splash.

Also check :

@ revvedup: The Indian engineers were involved in Splash but it was not an entirely all Indian design. The A-Star in an all Indian effort.

Look where the tacho is! Located above the speedo.I have seen those kinds of meters only in tuned cars which show all kinds of weird information about the car.
