Bangy Traffic Police have suddenly pulled up their socks. Nice to see things going in the right direction.

Great piece of info! Thanks for sharing!

This seems to be the first of kind here in the country (isn't it?)!

Bangalore rocks! :-)

OMG. This is a great surprise.
15sec delay is quite okay.

Interesting link I got from there is : BTIS : Live traffic map of Bangalore for your GPRS phone On a mobile, you can see this.

PS: Btw you might want to remove the space in the link.

This is cool. Looks like Bangalore traffic police have decided to take their job seriouslyclap:

Gimmick, I would say. Instead, they should put in cameras (and computerise the whole process) to catch signal jumpers. I am fed up of them :(

Superb,Bangalore rocks!

Nice option. But it seems too slow, right ?

No matter what they do, Signal offenders are becoming a big menace as they not only disregard the BRIGHT RED, but also get behind you and force you to commit the same damn mistakes as they do.
I am really getting sick..huh! sorry for this venting out..
Hope things change and their cameras do their trick of catching such offenders.

Way to go Bangalore Police. At last, they have started to use this. Don't know what kept them so long. They are in IT city and should have been done this long back. But anyways, better late than never. ;-)

This is nice. Actually I have been using this site for the past one year for general Traffic updates. The only grouse was that the sute was updated at 20 min intervals which I felt was too long.

Dont lose hope. They are going to do that also very soon. They have already started capturing offenders at 5 junctions in bangalore...though the process of generating chalans is manual. but next 1 yr or so will see some very dramatic changes happening in that department.

This is abosolute nice step taken by Bangalore Traffic Department. But on the reality this traffic display would\'nt help much to the commuters. They want free flow traffic.

On the reality, they should try to manage traffic by widening the roads, removing unneccesary signals etc. I can always see EJ Pura and Udupi Garder signals mostly red and occasionaly orange .
