Old City Vtec

Was talking to my friend the other day.. he told me that the old citys are still available.. to buy them you have to buy from a dealer in other then the 11 cities where BSIII is compulsary..
He told me that his friend loves the old city to death so he got one from Punjab and got it registered in Mumbai
Is this true .. coz i love the OHC

If it is true then its a good news for all the petrolheads, but i doubt it though because its long since Honda has stopped manufacturing the old city.

Haha i Love these urban legends. One legend has it that if you beg, threaten or plead Escorts chief enough, he'll sell you brand new Yamaha RD350 for Rs 1 lakh! Actually I made up that begging threatening thing...just ask him he'll oblige

come on fellas ,

the OHC is not manufactured anymore and there are no new (old) cars available too !
honda made sure the old stock was exhausted before they launched the NHC.

Similar is the case with the Qualis - we got information from toyota to stop manufacturing and supplyin the parts from Dec'04 as they were phasing out the Qualis - basically ensuring that all manufactured Qualises were sold before the Innova was launched !

cheers

New Vtecs atleast, is out of the question. I ask the Honda guys that question every time i meet them and they always deny having seen or heard of new Vtecs.

Not sure about the 1.5 and the 1.3.

I think there some dithering on wheter to bring in the City vtec, or the current civic or the next gen civic - my guess is the latter as the city vtec is dangerously close in pricing to a civic and the indian punter looks for pose over performance(except t-bhpians)
