I think this is rare and some one might have imported one.
you think someone would import a hyundai? IMO the only hyundai worth importing is the genesis.

In India we see any model and its price in compairetive terms. Very less waitage is given to the absolute value and absolute price. I wouldn't buy it more than 12 L, ever. I don't care if govt is taking 110% duty or anything else. (I am a 110% supporter of this law). Why don't they make SUVs in India? Or is it Tata's influance over things?

Hyundai India have burnt their fingers too often with pricey models. I doubt they would do that again in the current timeframe.

As per survey done in the Auto expo, Majority of people are unwilling to pay more than 20 L for this SUV and that's what the problem for Hyundai is.

As per them it is very hard to price it less than 23 L

A common problem of Hyundai, pricing the product right!

Price is not their problem. Embera diesel is a great car at a great price (undercuts the Passat by 10 lakhs) but still doesn't click. Badge is everything in that segment.

What would their price point for this car be like? I do like this car, its neither an innova-ish length, nor a scorpio-ish height, nor muscular like the new CRV or captiva, but then its kind of handsome to look at with good looks, and would definitely make a point or two to other cars!

but everything then depends on the price point and the driveability aspect, mileage being a close third.

Greek
I had seen the car in autoexpo, it is very macho, pretty mean looking machine. Innova doesnt compare at all. Captiva & CRV also look pale in comparison to it.

I think I disagree (but it is subjective) with your view. CRV is much good looking vehicle compare to Santa Fe. I have seen these vehicles number of times on my many visits to South Korea.

It looks ok from back side but front is not at all aesthetic.

OT: But my all time favourite Korean SUV is Korando (Korea can do). It is one of the first SUV made by Korea (SsangYong Motors and now made by Daewoo) to show western market that Korea is equally competent in making SUV. So the naming is done Korando (Korea can do). Now SsangYong motors has stopped its production and launched Actvon.

Check out beauty here as well as in my profile image

That's the one I saw - same car. I remember the last four digits of the number. I got the NL-05 wrong. As your pics show, it's NL-03. Where in Delhi did you see it?
