Practical in what sense? Practical in terms of ownership or in terms of features?

Maybach,

we cant pinpoint generally which is the most practical car coz everybody's needs differ ! so a car that is practical for one might be totally a waste of oney for some one else !

but yeah still will be good to hear the views of everyone around here !

as far as im concerned ...the MOST PRACTICAL CITY CAR has to be the SANTRO.

cheers

Practical overall, considering features, comfort, perfomance, fe, car price, service, spares and ownership

There has been only one practical car in India. And thats the Maruti 800. No other car beats that at practicality.

That is a very tough question for me to answer I am afraid. Buying a car is too much of an involved decision. If I have to own a car, I would own two - an M800 for doing the grocery and a Merc for making a statement. I think you know what I mean. I cannot narrow my choice on any one car I am afraid. If the Indian car market had pickups the way they are made in the US (tuned for fe though) then I would pick one of those.

In the overdrive Autopower The New Honda City has been rated as the most practical vehicle in India out of all the vehicles.. hip hip hooray clap:

Practicality is a relative word, and I suggest some discretion before opening random topics in the future.

To some, it may mean a small car (ease of parking, driving etc), to some it may mean a pickup truck (small business owner who needs to shove stuff around as well as carry his family in the evening), to a taxi owner it may mean the ability to ferry 10 people in an MUV in ease.

Its like asking, "which car is fast?"

GTO

I find the M800 to be the most practical car in India. It's cheap, easy to maintain and satisfies all your basic needs.

It's not the fastest, safest or the prettiest but it comes with a very practical overall package.
