Do we have technology to convert kinetic energy from the four rotating wheels into electrical energy to run the engine. The heat of the engine and the exhaust would also be converted into electrical energy that would also be used to run the engine. So i would need petrol/diesel/gas just to start the engine and to keep it at idle or running below a particular speed.

Just imagine the F.E figures we could get and how much fuel could be saved!!

Are there such technologies avilable? Or maybe some other technology in simmilar lines.:)
