Where did u get this 2L version. It sure looks same as the Indian Civic, the alloys are great (thank God), but the power is only 20 Bhp + on the stock Civic.

What - how - where ?

Bolting on a turbo kit to the Civic would give much better returns in power..

What did you pay for this ?

Cheers

Though this is definitely more SPORT than what we get, it still doesnt look too hot to me.

Why dont they get inspired by the TYPE R?!

Chrome handles and linings on a SPORT! I cannot digest this.

I love the Civic, but it's really not the most practical sedan, is it? Low seating, low ground clearance and low "low rpm" torque. Even the FE is low by Honda standards (LOL, how many lows in there!!!). This, coupled with the new Corolla / Jetta, may have taken customers away from the Civic.

Dont forget Mitsubishi cedia also came with this same sports badge. It was nothing more than the normal cedia with a Spoiler, skirting and leather seats.

cheers:
Simply because we expect more from a Honda than from an HM. As I posted earlier, the OHC Vtec sold in respectable numbers. Why couldn't Honda work that same magic for the Civic? I don't need Honda to make such a silly "sporty" variant of the Civic...my local accessory shop can do just as well.

.
True, the Civic has a free run of the market. Nothing else was comparable in terms of sheer newness, service support etc.Couple this with the Indian love for the Honda brand and voila!

Finally some competition. However, if VW has Skoda like service, then the Jetta will be out of Honda`s way pretty soon!

Ford India surely deserves more credit than that.
the S in Fiesta S means "Sport". A sportier suspension, apart from facelifts, deserves appreciation and cannot be compared to the Honda con-job in any way.
Did you scan the Fiesta S specs carefully?

The Ford Fiesta Sports has much more different – skirting, spoiler, bigger alloys and tires, body colors instead of chrome, fogs etc. The interiors are also different in dual color around black theme instead of beige, different seats, sporty pedals and so on. More importantly the Fiesta S is available in exclusive sports colors.

Is the Civic Sports selling? I have hardly seen a couple of them so far. Wonder if this has been able to stem the sagging Civic sales. Any idea on the numbers?

So far, in the last week (pretty hectic, all over the city for the entire day), I have seen only a single Civic Sports. One. Uno. Ek. Orennam.

The Honda sales dude I spoke to when I went for PDI today told me that a total of 80-100 Civics have been sold in TVM so far. I think Honda is going to have a hard time selling those thousand "limited" old S stock. Err, I mean the Sport.

I haven't seen a single Sport model on the road yet in Delhi/NCR/UP.

I was about to put up one spotting here. A white Civic Sport - white skirts, white rear spoilers and white alloys. THe gardener of that house seemed to be the only one gawking at it.
