What a let down, as per the ACI report! The front looks uglier than the picture posted on this forum earlier. The rear looks OK. Wonder such a contraption was worth the wait, excitement and buzz. Looks like an obese Scorpio from some angles.

No ABS- if it was offered with ABS, then It would have hopefully made a reasonable highway vehicle with all that space.

Awful design! Front looks hideous from all angles. Interiors very very uninspiring and ordinary.
A big letdown this one from the designers of Scorpio!

Don't you see the point, sir? It was so ugly and uninspiring that the blog and ACI did not want to release the pictures earlier. Probably a concession to M&M whose PR department is said to be very nice towards the media

M & M say it has more spcae than Innova even in 3rd row seat, Lets see how comfort those seats are.

I think they did lot of home work to bring this product. They are targetting Innova directly and also other sedans including Dezire.

I wish all the best to Xylo.

Ravi.

Extremely Ugly looking contraption, looks like a cross between the Sumo Grande & Innova.

Saw it on some Business News Channel this morning, Mr. Mahindra was all ga ga about the car & its positioning.

May be some people would like it, but these looks are not for me.

I had asked my sister to hold on buying the Logan till Xylo came out, she is booking the Logan on the weekend after the first look today.

The rear looks surprisingly clean compared to the UGLY face.
Grrrr...those rabbit teeth are getting on to me. May God save the blind designers at Mahindra. :(

this secrecy was totally a disastrous misleading of the public. everyone was expecting something extraordinary with the big box falling on the sedans.

i think even if you spend one lac more on innova you will get the proven technology and reliability. Scorpio is far better.

Tata crossover is 100% better looking than this. the front is amazing.

they have totally messed up with front grill design. This angry looking SUVish kind of front is certainly not going along with this MPV. It should have sleek front grill which will go well with inlcined bonnet not this huge imposig grill and head lights.
Rest it looks nice from side and back but front makes TATA SUMO GRANDE look better and might result in selling of latter when and if people start comparing.

IMO, the Mahindra styling department went out of steam after the Scorpio was launched. Look at the Scorpio facelift- the bonnet scoop and the front bumper lips. Then compare the earlier Bolero with the current one. And now this Xylo.

BTW, does "Xylo" mean "Stylo" gone wrong ("X")

I do agree they could have done better. But Xylo is not that bad the way people blast on it. We should appreciate effort of Mahindra to bring good competition. They have invested a lot.

If we are not pleased by XYLO we get other vehicle like Innova for less cost because XYLO is present. i wish TATA bring something similar to XYLO.

XYLO price is less, I hope the quality of material used not too cheap.

Good luck!

Ravi.
