In one of the videos shown on that link, there is a talk about a 7 seater configuration with a 2+2+3 arrangement. So, looks like they are aiming at Captain seats in the middle row ala the Innova.

It will be powered by a detuned (110 BHP) 2.6 L CRDe engine.
Initial offering will have 4x2 but later 4x4 will also be made available.

hope the xylo will shook the muv market. it should take on innova which is the market leader.

BTW do you people think that xylo will take over the innova.just imagine the quality of the dash ,seats and comfort of innova.

i think it will help the politicians to carry more ppl for their party meetings. -)

It might be a hit in taxi market who now are buying innova without a choice.

They have published an article on Xylo with a bigger picture (though not a clicked one) in grey color. I am amazed to see that Xylo doesn't look as bad as in the earlier pictures (one such picture is attached). In fact it looks good.
Here is the image from the autocar website (:: AUTOCAR INDIA - CAR AND BIKE MAGAZINE ::)

If you compare it with the earlier image (given on the right side) you will find that the differences are subtle but the new avatar looks more palatable !

the new pic definetely looks better and digestable! its not a benchmark in styling but its not bad either! even the innova is not a head turner! notice the diaper like thing on the centre of the grille, it started with the new bolero! i hate that thing.

This is called as illusion.. except for the angle of depression, which makes you see the vehicle from a different height, nothing else (except for the grille grooves and flared wheel arches) has changed in the two renditions.

Had spotted the new mahindra on Nice road at the junction which connects the nice road to bannerghatta road, unfortunately the new test mahindra jeep was stuck & i got a chance to drive the jeep & got it out of where it was stuck..

The guys who drove it said they were not from mahindra as they were testing several devices installed on the jeep (Bosch)

As it was on pre-launch road test, the jeep was full of meters & cables inside.. It was totally covered with cloth & the guys did not give the name of the jeep as it was not launched yet..

Got the pic on my phone, will post soon..

Cheers,
c10.
