Spotted a camouflaged Ingenio over the weekend on Mumbai - Pune expressway on my way back to Pune. They have been extensively testing the Ingenio for a while now. Any idea about a possible launch date.

Looked rock solid at 140+ kph.

Scary!. Adding to my apprehension is a rendering of the Ingenio on the cover of AutoBild. I had acute indigestion after seeing it.l I hope Mahindra didn't get DC to design this vehicle.

Ingenio in Style

Guys - Please check the front page of Auto Bild magazine. New ingenio definitely has better appeal than Innova. Hope this will have 2.2 hawk engine for better revving...

I don't know about others but it looks awkward to me. The Innova is much more pleasing to the eyes. From the side profile, I am guessing the backside would resemble the Tata Sumo Grande's posterior.

what a poor impression of ingenio...i dont think M&M would be anywhere close to this disaster. This impression looks like a hammered..doped version of scorpio

The Indgenio looks like an artist's impression, not a photo.

I have seen the vehicle when I took the pics and I can safely say that this is a very poor job on the artists part. I mean the vehicle actually looked good even in that black dress. Here the sketch has not much work done actually. Not a lot of attention has been paid to the details from scoop pics while making it, resulting in this.

The grill though is accurate as far as I remember..

This is horrendous, eerie, it sucks, it just cant be. Somebody who had seen the vehicle had described it as "pretty good looking". If it comes out looking like this it will surely go the Sumo grande way.

Omg

Damn. seems like a poor imagination from the artist but still I would agree in tems of proportions & shape when compared to the spy pics & I must admit that IMO they have goofed up with the proportions & shape of the vehicle.

Still doesnt look like a product from a well experienced & mature automobile company.

It looks more like a cartoon character - not even a concept kind. This can't be a product from the company that gave Scorpio.

Guys this is disastrous Image. I am sure M&M wouldn't give such a Cheap looking MUV.

The New Ingenio is been seen for the past 2yrs. Correct me if i am wrong. I feel M&M delayed it to see what TATA is doing with the Sumo. Now that the GRANDE has arrived with totally cold feet. It makes sense for INGENIO to be launched. The INGENIO will surely be in competition with the Likes of SUMO / GRANDE / Maybe even WINGER.

But i don't think it will be of any competition to the Innova. be it on specs, drive ability, reliability or even look. By the way the Innova itself is undergoing few cosmetic changes.

That looks ugly to say the least! This can't be the vehicle to take on Innova. Not after so much hype surrounding it.

I wonder where these Auto Bild guys got this picture from?

It seems like a cheap clay model built by a wannabe DC!

One my friends works with Auto Bild India..I'll ask her where they got this from!!
